A correspondent of the “SunHerald” service says "that Div Schacht (German Minister of Economics), who is shortly to proceed to London, hoping to obtain a loan, might as well stay at home, because there was good reason to believe that the issuing houses strongly • oppose loans to Germany on the ground that they have no confidence in her financial condition, arid that loans only help to strengthen Hitlerism and speed-up German rearmament.
