THE METHVEN TOURNAMENT.
FORTY-SEVEN ENTRIES. Entries for the Metliven Ladies Hockey Club’s annual tournament, to be held to-morrow, closed with 47 entries, representing 27 dubs, and a successful fixture is assured. The draw is as follows, the first game being timed to start at 1 p.m.
Ladies’ Senior A Grade. First Round— Hinds plays Technical Old Girls No. 2. Second Round—Hornby plays winner of first round, West Christchurch plays Timvald, Technical Old Girls No. 1 plays Ashburton High School Old Girls, South brook plays Methven. Ladies’ Senior B Grade. First Round —Southbrook plays Highbank, Dunsaudel plays Methven. Second Round— Mount Somers plays winner of Southbrook - Highbank, Lowclilfe plays winner of Diuisandcl-Mc-th-ven, Baring Square plays Geraldine, Methven Old-Timers plays Kiwi.

Men’s junior Grade. First round—Geraldine Doughboys plays Methven Seniors; Metliven Magpies plays Methven High School A; Technical Old Roys plays Geraldine Quintuplets; Redcliffs plays Methven High School R.
The following will represent the Methven District High School: — Junior Men —No. 1 team: H. Reid, L. Ayers, Aitken, E. Hiuvkhead and J. Dalton. No. 2 team: J. Smitli.J. Battson, Aitken, N. Kelly and R. Hansen.
Ladies’ Junior Grade —No. 1 team: O. Fleming, J. Campbell, B. Oldfield, T. Jones, F. Young and M. Campion. No. 2 team: N. Campbell, H. Campbell, M. Battson, J. Campion, B. Currie and N. Oldfield.
