THE TUCKER TROPHY.
Sir,—ln last night’s issue of the “Guardian” it stated in the report of the local Competitions that I had selected the test piece for next year. I have always endeavoured to make it clearly understood that I do not select the music for this event, hut seek the advice of those persons who have the qualifications to do so. They have been mostly experts of this Dominion, but on two occasions the music was selected by the visiting examiners from Trinity College, London.
