SIX B STATIONS .CONCERNED. Coinciding with changes to be made in the wave-lengths of Australian broadcasting stations on September 1, alterations are to be made on the same date in the frequencies of some of the New Zealand B stations, in order to avoid interference from Australia, and also in certain cases to prevent difficulties in reception in the South Island through a similar local cause. The new frequencies, to come into use on September 1, will be as follow: — 2YB, New Plymouth—Present, 750; new, 760 Kc/s (395 meters). IZH, Hamilton—Present, 770; new, 850 Kc/s (353 meters). 2ZR-, Nelson —Present, 1360; new, 920 Kc/s (326 metres). 2ZB, 4ZM, 4ZO, Dunedin—Present, 1050; new, 1010 Kc/s (297 metres).
