Knox had two dead-heats for first and one for third; Munro.had four dead-heats for first, and Pratt two for first and one for third. McCarten, with 51 wins and four dead-heats for first, wias sixth on the jockeys’ list. King’s horses won £10,891 in prizemoney. J. T. Jamieson had a moderate season, winning only 12 races worth £3190. Knox’s total winning mounts is a record by a jockey on registered courses.

THE GOODWOOD STAKES. (Received This Day, 9.20 a.m.) LONDON, July 31. The Goodwood Stakes resulted: — Hoplite 1, Claran 2, Mallin 3. Fourteen started. Won by four lengths'; a head between second and third.
