PUBLIC NOTICE. BOROUGH OF ASHBURTON. HAMPSTEAD DRAINAGE LOAN 1935, £12,000. PURSUANT to Section 10 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” and with tho precedent consent of the Local Government Loans Board, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a POLL of RATEPAYERS of the HAMPSTEAD AREA of the Borough will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the 7th day of August, 1935, on the proposal to borrow the sum of £12,000 for the purpose 'of installing an UNDERGROUND DRAINAGE! SYSTEM for that area. ,SUM PROPOSED TO BE BORROWED:— Twelve thousand Pounds (£12,000). THE PROPOSED SECURITY AND PAYMENT OF LOAN. Tho Security for the Loan shall be a Special Rate of One Shilling and Seven Pence Halfpenny (1/7-id) in the Pound sterling, on the Annual Value of all the rateable property within' the Hampstead Area of the Borough, Loan to be for a period of 35 years, and bearing Interest at Three Pounds Ten Shillings per cent. (31 per cent.) per annum, together with a Sinking Fund of One Pound Ten Shillings (11 per cent.) per annum. It is not proposed to pay the first year’s interest and sinking fund 1 out of the Loan. W. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a POLL of RATEPAYERS of the HAMPSTEAD AREA of the Borough will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the 7th day of August, 1935, on the proposal to borrow the sum of £4,500 for the purpose of making ADVANCES by way of loan to needy ratepayers in the Hampstead Area of the Borough to enable them to connect their premises to the proposed Drainage Scheme for that area. SUM PROPOSED TO BE BORROWED':— Four thousand five hundred pounds (£4,500). THE PROPOSED SECURITY AND REPAYMENT OF THE LOAN. The Security for the Loan shall be a Special Rate of One Shilling and Five Pence Halfpenny (1 /51 cl) in the Pound (£) sterling on the Annual Value of all the rateable property within the Hampstead Area of the Borough, Loan to he for a period of 10 years and bearing Interest at Three Pounds Ten Shillings per cent. (3J per cent.) pei j annum, together with a Sinking Fund of Eight Pounds Ten Shillings per cent. "(S’- per cent.) per annum.
