New Zealand Mutton—Small, 33d, 4ld; large, 3Jd, 3fd. New Zealand Ewes —Small, 2fd, 2gd; large, 2d, 21d. New Zealand Beef—-Ox hinds (frozen), 2d, r 21 d ; fores, 3d, 31d. Dominion Chilled —Hinds, 2|d, 3Jd ; fores, lid, 2d. South American Chilled —Hinds, 4Jd. 43d ; fores, 21d, 21d. New Zealand Pork —od, 51d. Australian Lambs —ss, Cd. Argentine Lambs —sd, 6d. Lambs: The market is firm, and there is a satisfactory demand. Wethers: The demand is hut prices are practically unchanged. Ewes: Weaker values are ruling owing to a. lack of demand. Beef: The demand is affected by the low price of chilled beef. iPork: The market is dull, and little business doing. Trade is slow generally owing to hot weather.
