BRITISH MOTORIST’S CLAIM. (United Press Association —Copyright) NEW YORK, July 12. Mr John Cobb, the British racing motorist, covered 152.11 miles in an hour, driving on the salt flats at Bonneyvillo (Utah) to-day. He is claiming the world’s record and also world records of 154.46 miles an hour for 50 kilometres, 153.24 miles an hour for 200 kilometres, 150.60 foi 50 miles, and 152.95 for 100 miles.
