QUESTION IN THE COMMONS. (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Bay, 12.50 p.m.) LONDON, June 17. In the House of Commons to-day, Brigadier-General Nation (Conservative) inquired what action had been taken to put into effect the principal recommendations of the inter-depart-mental committee on immigration, particularly in relation to the creation of two advisory bodies to replace the Overseas Settlement Committee. The Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs (.Mr J. H. Thomas) replied that action would be considered when the opinions of the overseas Governments had been ascertained.
