GENERAL STOPPAGE FAILS. OVER HALF THE WORKERS LOYAL. (United Press Association —Copyright.) (Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) • VANCOUVER, June 17. At a mass meeting of waterfront strikers Messrs F. Fleming and H. J. Murray, representatives of the crew of the Aorangi, stated that a cablegram had been sent to the Australian marine iinions asking for their views regarding the Aorangi being loaded here by non-union workers. An attempt to continue a general tie-up of shipping on the coast of British Columbia failed, mere than half the marine workers staying at their posts.
