ACTED AS COMPANY MANAGER. 'Pe r Press Association). NAPIER, June 17. The first prosecution in the Dominion under Section 149 of the Companies Act was heard by Mr J. Miller, S.M., when H. W. N. Shaw was charged with acting as manager of the Napier, Gisborne and Palmerstcn North Rubber Company when an undischarged bankrupt. Fines totalling £ls were imposed.
