MISS ROUND DEFEATS MISS PERRY AND AUSTIN' LOSE DOUBLES. LONDON, June 15. The finals of the Kent lawn tennis championships resulted as follow: —' C. R. Tuckey and F. H. D'. Wilde defeated F..J. Perry and H. W. Austin, 4-6, 6-2, 7-5. . Mesdames Andrus and Henrotin (France) defeated Misses Stammers and James (England), 6-3, 6-2. Miss D. Round defeated Miss K. E. Stammers, 6-2, 6-0. In the women's singles final, Miss Stammers failed to reproduce the faultless display which gave her the victory over Mrs Wills-Moody. It was soon evident that many shots which against Mrs Moody had been winners, went wide of the lines. Her proportion of errors steadily increased in the second set. Miss Round, with the rhythm of her driving restored, proved more mobile than Mrs Wills Moody and less easily caught by short returns.
