JEWELS STOLEN.
FORMER QUEEN OF SIAM. LOSS WHILE SLEEPING. LONDON, June 2. A quantity of jewels, the property of the ex-i]ueen of Siam, were stolen today while she and the ex-King Prajadhipok slept. Thoy are living at Knowle House the country seat which they have occupied since the abdication, and had intended to leave it at the end of the month. The jewels were taken from the exQueen's bedroom. The theft occurred between 2 a.m. when a house detective made his rounds and 7 a.m., when a servant found the reception rooms ransacked. Three dogs are left in the house but none of them was heard to- bark.
