THREE-ACT PLAY.
“PRUNELLA” AT CAVENDISH CLUB Members of the Drama Circle of the Cavendish Club entertained members of the club last evening with a presentation of the three-act play “Prunella,” by Laurence Housman and Granville Barker. The production of the play was in the hands -of Miss Renee Chamberlain, and ‘the players were warmly congratulated on their performances. The cast was as follows:—People of the house —Prunella, Miss Ayleen Robilliard; Prim, Pruden and Privacy (her aunts), Mesdames 15. Ruddock, J. Connor and E. M. Gabites; Queer and Quaint (their servants), Mesdames McDonald and Kennedy; First Gardener, Mrs Parsons ; Second Gardener, Mrs O’Connor; Third Gardener, Mrs Cooper; Gardener’s Boy, Miss Audrey Ruddock; Love (a statue), Miss Alice Madden. The Mummers—a strolling band of pierrots —Pierrot, Miss Renee Chamberlain; Scaramel (his servant), Mrs Ryburn; Hawk, Mrs Carter; Kennel, Mrs Cameron : Mouth, Miss Eileen Millichamp; Doll, Miss Ghristabel Smith; Romp, Miss Elsie Holland; Coquette, Miss Audrey Amos; Tenor (a hired singeQ, Mrs Parsons.
