CANTERBURY LADIES' TITLE. WON BY MISS B. RUTHERFORD. CHPJISTCHUROH, This Day. Miss Betty Rutherford won the women's golf championship of Canterbury yesterday when she beat Miss M. Beadel 3 and 1 in a match in which she produced some very fine golf. Tli© final was an exciting game, and was even till the last few holes. Miss V. Fleming, whose chances of retaining the title were thought to be very good, was put out in the semi-final by Miss Beadel. Miss Rutherford beat Miss J. Stevenson in the other semi-fina!!.
