AUSTRALIAN PRIME MINISTER. A FLAG-FLYING INCIDENT. (United Press Association —CopyrigM.Ji DUBLIN, April 23. After searching Dublin and finding one of the few Australian flags available the proprietors, of the Royal Hibernian Hotel, at which Mr J. A. and Mrs Lyons are staying, displayed it. It was flying barely an hour when the police advised its removal, as the incorporation of the Union Jack might provoke the more ardent Republicans to tear it down.
Mr Lyons this afternoon visited Kildare, the home of this mother's family. ' To-morrow he will .unofficially call on Mr de Valera. ,He will then Sft to Belfast at the invitation of the Prime Minister (Baron Craigavon). He and his party will be the guests of the British Empire League. Throughout Dublin has presented . a strange appearance. Owing to the long-continued 'bus tram strike the population has taken largely to bicycles, with which the streets are crowded.
