OIL AS A CURE.
BACTERIAL DISEASES METHOD REMOVES TOXINS. (United Press Association— SYDNEY, March 24. The "Sydney Sunday Sun" publishes an interview with Dr. V. G. Walsh, who is now visiting Sydney, regarding his newly-discovered cure for pneumonia, erysipelas, septicaemia and rheumatic fever by injections of finely emulsified olive oil. T)r. Walsh brought his apparatus in order to demonstrate to Sydney doctors the efficiency of the new treatment for dealing with acute bacterial disease. "The apparatus breaks down the oil into particles of less than one ten thousandth part of an inch," Dr. Walsh said. "It is the toxins which bacteria produce that kill.. Remove the toxins and the body will deal with the bacteria in its own way. Treated with emulsion, toxaemia lasts only a few.hours, and recovery is rapid and complete. W© found it rarely necessary to make more than four injections and pneumonia patients have been able to leave hospital under 20 days fit for work."
Dr. Walsh, who is a native of Maclean, on the north coast of New South Wales, has been absent from Australia since 1914.
