The "Sketch" says that the New Zealand tennis authorities are worried regarding conditions of the players who are to play Australia in the Davis Cup contest. Malfroy at present is ill; A. 0. Andrews, despite playing much squash rackets, is not fit, and was beaten last week by a club player. A. C. Stedman begins tournament play shortly, and J. E. Giesen is recovering from an injury he received at Rugby.
