GIANT TOADS.
TO CONTROL SUCAR CANE PESTS. (United Press Association—copyright). BRISBANE, March 21. The sugar experimental stations propose to import into Queensland giant toads to control the sugar-cane pests. Attempt will lie made to breed the toads, after which the first generation will be liberated in the grub-infested areas.
