LLOYD GEORGE’S SCHEME. (United Press Assodlwion— Copyright LONDON, March 18. The political correspondent of the “News-Chronicle” says: “Mr Lloyd George’s ‘new deal’ proposals will be examined by a committee consisting ot 'Mr Ramsay MacDonald, Mr J. HIThomas, Mr Walter Runciman, and Mr Neville Chamberlain. Since all of these have publicly rejected Mr Lloyd George’s policy, the Government is not likely to accept the implications thereof, and will probably try to show that its own plans meet the situation.”
