FRIESIAN’S FINE RECORD, ONE OF LONG BEACH HERD. Longbeach Everlasting 2nd, the eight-year-old pedigree Friesian, bred and oAvned by Air J. H. Grigg, Longbeach, avlio has been tlie source of much interest during tlie last 12 months, completed ilier 365 days on certificate of record test in Octobei with the A r ery fine totals of 19,409.01 b milk and 758.021 b fat This high producer just missed establishing a neAV record for the Longbeach stud, which stands at present at 759.931 b fat and Avliich by a Coincidence is held by Longbeach Everlasting, the dam of the coav just tested. These two coavs make a most formidable dam and daughter combination and slioav that the 50 years of concentration qji the original Dutch strains has resulted in the maintenance not only of sound constitution and type hut also of high production.
Longbeach Everlasting 2nd is certainly closely line-bred, fcer sire, Longbeach Transvaal Stamp having only two great-great-grandsires, Dutchman and Kruger 2nd, while her dam, Longbeach Everlasting has only one great great-grandsire, Longbeaeh Van Tromp, who appears four times in that position.
