A daily air service between London and Edinburgh, via Leeds and New-castle-on-Tyne, will be operated from the beginning of next month by the North-Eastern Airways Company, ibe firm proposes to use Airspeed Envoy two-engined monoplanes, and, in view of their cruising speed of 150 m.p.h., the journey between Heston Airport, on the outskirts of London, and the terminus in Scotland, is expected to take two hours and threequavters, including intermediate stops. The return fare between London and Edinburgh will be £lO and the single faro £5 14s, both inclusive of ground transport between the centre of the cities and the aerodromes. —British Official Wileless.
