At the wool sales 8122 bales were offered including 4446 New Zealand and 2826 Australian, and approximately 6061 New Zealand and Australian were sold. There was a steady market with Home and Continental competition that sustained the full recent levels. . New Zealand greasy merino, Marchburn, sold up to 13d with an average of 12fd. Halfbred lamb slipe, Belfast, 12|d and llfdi. At Bradford the market is steady. Quotations are seventies 26£d, sixtyfours 24d, sixties 22d, fifty-sixes 27id, fifties 13*d, forty-sixes 10*d, and forties 9£d.
