dominion championships. AUCKLAND, March 14. In spite of heavy rain, the annual Dominion croquet championship tournament was continued to-day. The final of the open championship doubles will be played to-morrow between Mesdames Clark and Tingey and Miss Sheet and Ward-Petley. In the open championship singles, Mrs Baker (Auckland) beat Captain Hartnell, the present holder of the Dominion title, 26-18 and 26-6. Mis Thomson (Auckland champion) was defeated by Mrs Oaldow and Mrs E. Basset in the ladies’ championship singles.
