BOOKMAKER CHARGED. BRISBANE, March 14. Frank Morris, a bookmaker, was charged with wilfully killing the racehorse Ferniemount in its stable on March 8. The case was adjourned. The horse was the subject of litigation between Morris and a man named Sydney Byers. It is alleged that Morris went to the racing stable where Ferniemount was kept and shot him dead.
