ASHES IN NEW MEXICO D. H. LAWRENCE CREMATED. (United Press Association—Copyright). (Received This Day, 1.0 p.m.) LONDON, March 14. The. body of D. H. Lawrence, the novelist, was exhumed at Venice and cremated, at Marseilles. The ashes are now going to Kiowa ranch, New Mexico, where they will be placed in a little temple which Mrs Lawrence built in the mountains. Thus Lawrence’s last wish will be gratified.
