The Peshawar correspondent of the "Times" says that the first Indian yilltfgo broadcasting scheme was inaugurated at Peshawar by Sir Ralph Griffith (Governor of the North-West Frontier Provinces). His speech in Pushtu was clearly heard by the Pathan population of the border villages. Lectures on hygiene, agriculture and education, also current news, will be regularly boardcast.
