ZURICK OUTPOINTS BISHOP. SYDNEY, This Day. At the Sydney Stadium the American, Phil Zurick (9.2 J), defeated the Australian lightweight champion, Herb. Bishop (9.8£) on points in 15 rounds. With crashing rights, the American twice floored the Australian in the thirteenth round. NUMERY OUTPOINTS BERG. PARIS, February 25. In a 10-round bout Gus Numery outpointed Kid Berg. A London cablegram dated January 21 stated: At the Albert Hall> in 10 rounds, Kid Berg beat Gustaye Numery, the French light-weight
champion, the referee stopping the bout in the eighth round because of .the Frenchman's damaged eye. It was a terrific contest. The title was not involved.
