ANGLING.

SALMON AT THE RAKAIA. The Rangitata River was in good order for fishing during the week-end, and there was a good number of rods out at the mouth. There were only a few trout caught, however. Salmon are beginning to run in the Rakaia River, and three were landed at the mouth "last week. .-Provided the river is' in suitable order, it is expected that fishermen will enjoy some* good salmon sport next week-end.
