Political circles express the opinion that the German reply to Britain and France on the subject of an air pact will intensify Franco-Russian relations and'may lead to the conclusion of an Eastern pact without German participation. The “Pravda” sees the likelihood of the reply starting a hidden AngloFrench struggle, and adds: ‘ ‘Germany is suffering from megalomania and seeks to create the impression that the fate of the world depends on her decision. She is greatly mistaken therein. European peoples will find means otherwise of guaranteeing their safety.
