PLAYERS OF PAKAPOO. (Per Pres 9 Association.) WELLINGTON, February 14. As a result of a police search yesterday afternoon for pakapoo material in Vivian Street premises, Lim Beng, aged 32, a laundryman, was lined £25 ,in the Magistrate’s Court to-day for allowing premises to be used as a common gaming-house. He was allowed a fortnight to pay. Donald Stuart Fraser, aged 33, a relief worker, who admitted being on the premises without lawful excuse, was convicted and ordered to pay costs within a fortnight. Two Chinese fruiterers, charged similarly to Fraser, pleaded not guilty and the cases were adjourned until to-motrow.
