AIR LINER RETURNS.
HEAD WINDS ENCOUNTERED. WEATHER IN THE TIMOR SEA. (United 1 Press Association —Copyright.) (Received This Day, 1.55 p.m.) DARWIN, This Day. (Strong head winds over the Timor Sea caused the Imperial Airways air liner Astrea to return to Darwin after travelling a hundred miles from the Australian Coast. Captain Youell (the pilot of the Astrea) decided that with only six hours’ flying range lie would have too small a margin of safety for the flight to Koepang. The ’plane will leave again to-day.
