GOLF.
ENGLISH LADIES’ TOUR. (Received This Day, 12.25 p.m.) LONDON, February 14. The Ladies’ Golf Union emphasises that players invited for the tour of Australia, and New Zealand will be reduced to five before the departure. Those selected at present are most prominent internationals, but more may be considered if they reveal, form in the coming fixtures, particularly in the open championship. The team will leave on July 12 and will arrive at Fremantle on August 13. It will spend six weeks in Australia and three weeks in New Zealand.
