Lieutenant Harold June started a. third important exploration flight this afternoon, and expects- to coyer about 700 nautical miles, making an 'aerial survey of the hitherto unpenetrated glaciated wastes of Marie Byrd Land and the long prolongation of Edsel Ford X,and. x ■ To-day the tractor party reported that it had successfully retreated from the crevasses "just south of the 81st parallel, and Avas moving north-east to reach the good surface which the aviators had located for it during the flight two days ago. •. ■■- ,':'-.
