LABOUR CANDIDATE APPROVED. • (Special to the " Guardian.") CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The North Canterbury' Labour Representation Committee has approved the candidature of (Dr. Frank Birkinshaw for the Hurunui electorate in the next Parliamentary election. '.Hie recommendation of the committee will be forwarded immediately to the National Executive of the New Zealand Labour party in Wellington. The executive has the final decision in the matter, but it seems certain that its approval x will be given to the candidate.
