THIRD GRADE REPRESENTATIVES ASHBURTON DEFEAT ELLESMERE The Ashburton Third Grade representatives defeated Ellesmere representatives by 12 points to 9, in a match played at the showgrounds this afternoon. At half time the scores were 9-3 in favour of Ashburton. The scorers for Ashburton were Bradley, Wylie (2), Gorman; and for Ellesmere D. Cameron, and Shilling (2). Mr S. Alexander was referee. It was a good open game, with Ellesmere on the attack at the end.
