CLAIM DISMISSED.
SALE OF SHEEP STATION. (Per Press Association). INVERCARGILL, August 9. The reserved judgment of Mr Justice Kennedy, dismissing the claim of plaintiffs in the Manapouri station case, heard in the Supreme Court at Invercargill in May, was read by the registrar to-day. The caso was a civil action in which John MacDonald, of Manapouri station, Mossburn, and Archibald Alan MacDonald, of Waipori, both sheep farmers, sought to recover from John MacDonald, of Invercargill, company manager, and Angus MacDonald, of the Plains station, Mossburn, sheep farmer, the sum of £SOOO as damages for alleged fraudulent misrepresentation in respect of the purchase by plaintiffs in 1929 for £15,000 of the Manapouri station. The plaintiffs alleged that they had been deceived into paying £SOOO too much for the property, and the statement of claim set out alleged the misrepresentations relied upon in support of their claim. The plaintiffs' action' for damages was dismissed; with costs against them.
