The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board has received the following cablegram from its London office, dated June 1, advising that the following are are approximate average prices realised for the week, based-on actual transactions of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of meat mentioned, and are for representative parcels of the goods offering during the week, being for business done on the basis of delivered to Smithfield Market and (or) ex London stores. . OVERSEAS QUOTATIONS. The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has received the following market report from its London office, dated Juno 1:
Butter. New Zealand—Salted 76£s to 77s (last week 77s to 78s), unsalted /8s to 80s (80s). The salted price equals approximately B.Bd f.o.b. Australian—Salted 73s to 745,. unsalted 74s to 755. Market steadier at end of week. • .. . Danish—64s f.o.b, 86s spot (steady). Dutch—Unsalted 70s to 80s Esthonian—Salted and unsalted 72s to 745. , ~ 1 „ . Latvian—Salted and unsalted /2s to Retail prices unchanged, New Zealand 10d, Danish lid. Cheese. New Zealand White to 45s (last week 455); coloured 44s to 4&is. Improved demand at end of this week. Canadian—White and Coloured 51s Market steady. New Zealand retail price unchanged, 6d. Danish, 86s. Cheese—Firmer tendency. Wlnte 44s ?Td' to 455. coloured 445. AUSTRALIAN PRICES. WELLINGTON, Juno 2. The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has been advised by the Australian Board that it has fixed the minimum prices at which Australian butter may be sold for forward shipment to the United Kingdom during the coining week at 9d and BM. These prices are New Zealand f.0.b., the equivalent of Australian c.i.f.e. minimum prices fixed.
