Dr AY. G. Woolnough (Geological Adviser to the Commonwealth .Government), who was to have been accompanying Dr. Fenton to inspect a mining site m the Panton Hills, m the vicinity of. Ord River, was not in the aeroplane when it crashed. Dr. Fenton alone was in tlie aircraft, which was wrecked. Dr. Fenton was badly shaken.
