PLAN FOR INCREASING IT. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, May 23. At the Wellington Manufacturers Association last evening reference was made to the recent offer by the New Zealand Manufacturers’ Federation to assist the dairy industry in any campaign that might be launched to increase the consumption of. butter, cheese, milk and cream. _lt was suggested that the manufacturers’ organisation, together with their contact with workers in their own factories, might be used effectively. The association was particularly impressed by the proposals put forward by'Mr P--0. Veale, research chemist to the dairy industry, and would • welcome any opportunity and co-operate in some scheme worked ont on these lines.
