The standard of play was very high. Mrs D. C. Macfarlane and Mrs R. Dearden (rec. 6 strokes) beat Mrs McKillop and Miss R, Cracroft-Wilson 2 and 1. ASHBURTON WOMEN’S CLUB. A bogey match was played by members of the women’s section of the .Ashburton Golf Club yesterday, resulting in a win for Mrs J. M. Mcßae, who finished 1 down.
