ILLEGAL LIQUOR.
MAN AND WIFE IN COURT. <Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, February 2. Harold and Gladys Elliott, a married couple with six children, were to-day charged with selling liquor without a license. Elliott was stated to be a relief worker. The pair were fined £lO for a similar offence in 1931, and to-day Elliott was fined £ls, and Mrs Elliott convicted and discharged. The liquor was sold in their home, and the police managed to become consumers.
