CRICKET.

THE AUSTRALIAN TEAM. DUNEDIN, Jan. 30. It is felt here that Canterbury has been treated very liberally in having three matches allotted to it in the itinerary of the Australian cricket team's tour. Although Dunedin has been allotted a test match, Otago has two strong minor associations in Southland and North Otago, and it is considered that it should have been given more than one match. AUSTRALIA'S TEST TEAM. SYDNEY, January 30. Australia's test cricket team will be selected to-morrow night. It is likely that the selection will be prefaced by an acrimonious discussion on the last "body-line" cablegram dispatched by Mr R. Oxlade, chairman of, the Board of Control, which the Victorian and Queensland delegates declare was sent without their authority. These delegates openly declare that, they intend to challenge Mr Oxlade to fight to a finish. Arthur Mailey's choice of players is as follows:—W. M. Woodfull, W. H. Ponsford, E. Bromley, W. Darling, J. H. Fleetwood-Smith, A. F: Kippax, D. G. Bradman, W. J. O'Reilly, S. J. McCabe, W. A. Oldfield, J. Fingleton, W. Brown, McCormick, Walker, T. Wall, C. I. Grimmett.
