THREE MEN CHARGED.

PUBLIC BAR RAIDED. (Per Press Association). DUNEDIN, January 29. As a sequel to a police raid on the public bar of an hotel on Saturday, three men who were arrested for alleged breaches of the -Gaming Act appeared in the Police Court this morning before Mr H. W. Bundle, SuM,, Alan. Gourlev was charged with using the public "bar of the Carlton Hotel as a common gaming house. James Ernest Gillan and James Kennedy were each charged with assisting him. Accused were remanded till Wednesday on bail.
