STOWAWAY SAVED.
PASSENGERS' GENEROSITY. LANDED AS A FREE MAN. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, Jan. 29. After the Marama had left Sydney on her last trip a stowaway was discovered aboard. Realising that the man was a New Zealander and that he was destitute, the passengers took un a collection, sufficient being raised to pay his fare. The erstwhile stowaway finished his journey as a bona fidopasSenger and landed in, Wellington this morning a. free man.
