1 -OPOSSUM SKINS BUSINESS. (Per Press Association). DUNEDIN, January 25. In the Balclutha Court Alfred' Allan Campbell, a skin buyer, faced a list of ten charges of forgery and uttering. The charges aro.se from accused's dealings with opossum trappers in South Otago last season. After 12 witnesses had been heard, the informations were dismissed by the Magistrate (Mr H. J. Dixon). Accused was, however, fined on three separate ofi breaches of the regulations with regard to the sale of opossum skins.
