PACT FOR BALKANS.
MOVEMENT BY YUGO-SLAVIA. LONDON, October 9. King Alexander and Queen Marie of Yugo-Slavia have paid a visit to Mustapha Kemal Pasha, the President of Turkey. It is believed that they hoped to prepare the way for a visit by the Rumanian Foreign Minister, M. Titulescu, to arrange a Locarno Pact for the Balkans, which at least two of the Little Entente Powers, Yugo-Slavia and Rumania, are willing to support. Greece and Turkey are understood to be favourable to this. King Alexander will proceed to Greece to ascertain the views of the Government. Efforts to persuade Bulgaria to join in the movement have failed so far.
