Butter. Ncav Zealand—Salted, October 28 90s-94s to 96s (last Aveek 95s to 100 s), equals approximately 10.8 d f.0.b.) ; unsalted 106 s to 110 s (104 s to 112 s). Australian —Salted 90s-94s to 965; unsalted 102 s to 106 s. Argentine—Unsalted 955, ex. 965. Danish—93s f.0.b., 114 sto 115 s spot. Dutch—Unsalted 116 s to 120 s. Latvian—Salted 91s to 935; unsalted 90s to 935. Siberian—7Bs to 82s. Lithuanian —90s to 935. Market Aveak and irregular. Danish retail price increased to Is 3d and NeAv Zealand retail price Is Id. Ncav Zealand and Danish retail prices Avill he reduced Id next AA'eek. Cheese. NeAv Zealand —White 47s to 48s, or 5.03 d f.o.b. (48s 6d to 495), coloured 46s to 475, 4.9 d f.o.b. (47s to 48s). English—Finest farmers’ 76s to 88s (sloav). The hoard has also received the folloAving ad\’ico from its agents in Canada:—Butter: NeAv York 24 .cents, Montreal 193 cents.
WHEAT PRICES IN BRITAIN. LONDON, October,27. Wheat. —Cargoes opened mostly 6d lower. Australians, owing to lighter clearances, were steady and near positions occasionally were 3d up, hut new crop was - obtainable at 6d down. There was some Ear East inquiry for Australian old crop below United Kingdom parity and more British inquiry for new crop loading. Parcels were neglected and Australians were not offered. At closing the undertone was steadier. Parcels, ex Talleyrand sold yesterday at 22s 6d net. Futures are quoted :—London: December 20s per quarter, February 20s 3d, April 20s 9d. Liverpool: October 4s s§d, December 4s 7d, March 4s 10ft!, May 4s l*d.
THE OUTPUT OF TIN. CONTINUANCE OF CONTROL. LONDON, October 27. The Tin Committee announces that Bolivia, the Malay States, Netherlands, East Indies, Nigeria and Siam have? signed agreements for continuance of the control of production and export for three years from January 1. 1934. The scheme does not differ in essentials from the existing scheme.
