LONDON WOOL SALES.
GENERAL DEMAND PROVED. (Received This Day, 8.50 a.m.) LONDON, October 12. "The Financial Ntews" says that the closing of the London wool sales proved the general demand for urgent requirements. It is a considerable achievement for London to clear'stocks so advantageously in yiew of the slight decline in the Australian market. The trend of general' trade appears to be toward a higher level of activity, with wool participating in, general recovery.
