THE REICHSTAG FIRE.

UNFAIRNESS OF THE TRIAL. FOREIGN LAWYERS PROTEST. (United Press Association—Copyright). BERLIN, October 11. I'ive American, Bulgarian. and .French lawyers who are attending the Reichstag fire trial, protested to the President of the Court against the exclusion of Dimitroff, emphasising the point that the other accused, Popolf j,nd Taneff, could understand little or no German, while proceedings, strangely, were not translated. Not one of the foreign defendants is represented by a lawyer of his own choosing, consequently Dimitroff is hoth defendant and lawyer, and. his lack of German procedure brings him into conflict with the Court. His exclusion means that he does not receive a fair trial. -If the Bulgarians are found guilty, it will be impossible to convince the world oc the impartialitv of. German 'justice.
